Many times the king drowned in anxiety and started thinking in his mind that where should I go, what to do, so that I save me? Thus many years passed to the king.
One day the king was sitting in the same concern that Gautam Rishi came. The king grew by seeing him and told him all his sad story. After listening to him, Gautam Rishi started saying, ‘O Rajan, after seven days from your fate, there will be an Ekadashi named Aja of Bhadrapada Krishna Paksha, you should fast and fast. With the virtuous effect of this fast, all your sins will be destroyed. In this way, Gautam Rishi became infinite by telling the king.
According to the sage, the king fasted and awakened the fast on coming to Ekadashi. All sins of the king were destroyed due to the effect of that fast. The instruments started ringing from heaven and the flowers started raining. He saw his deceased son alive and his woman with clothes and jewelery. The king got the kingdom again due to the effect of the fast.
Finally he went to heaven with his family. All this happened due to the influence of Aja Ekadashi. Therefore, a person who performs the night awakening by performing this fast with efforts, after destroying all his sins, he gets to heaven in the end. Fasters who fast on such Ekadashi get many auspicious results. By listening to the story of this Ekadashi, the fruit of Ashwamedha Yajna is obtained.
