Jolly LLB-3
A Civil Court in Pune has issued summons on a petition filed by lawyer Vajd Rahim Khan in connection with his upcoming film ‘Jolly LLB 3’, a Pune civil court. The court has directed the three to appear personally at 11 am on October 28. Recently, the teaser of Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi’s film Jolly LLB-3 came. In which both star court-courts were seen playing. There are some dialogues in this teaser itself, on which this complaint has been filed. According to lawyer Vajd Rahim Khan, this action has been taken after a petition filed by him, alleging that the film makes fun of the judicial system and disrespect the court proceedings. In the petition, he objected to portraying the legal profession negatively and expressed concern over a scene in which judges are called uncles, which is a abusive word.
Lawyers should be respected
Talking to ANI, Vajed Rahim said, ‘Lawyers should be respected. That is why I have filed a petition in the court that everything that has been shown about lawyers and judges is wrong … I have filed a petition in the Pune court. And the court has asked Akshay Kumar, Arshad Valsi and the director to appear. The complaint was originally reported after the release of the film’s first teaser in 2024. ‘Jolly LLB 3’ is the latest installment of this film franchise. The first part played by actor Arshad Warsi was a sleeper hit at the box office. The sequel to the film starring Akshay Kumar was declared ‘Superhit’ at the box office in 2017.

After a gap of nearly eight years, the franchise producer Jolly is back with the third installment of LLB, with Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi in the lead roles. It is written and directed by Subhash Kapoor and is produced by Alok Jain and Ajit Andare under the banner of Star Studio 18. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on September 19, 2025. The much awaited teaser of the film Jolly LLB 3 starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi was released on 12 August.
In 2017, Akshay and Huma Qureshi starred in ‘Jolly LLB 2’, which is a sequel to ‘Jolly LLB’ released in 2013. The first film featured Arshad and Saurabh Shukla in the lead roles. Amrita Rao was also in the first part.
