Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’ made a lot of headlines after its release. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Wanga, the film had a very violent scene and many controversial dialogues also caught the attention of the people. The film grossed tremendously at the box office, but questions also arose. Many well-known celebrities including Javed Akhtar described it as a film full of Naridesh (Misojini), due to which the film remained in controversies. On the other hand, when the film was released, it began to be compared to Akshay Kumar’s ‘Animal’, now the director of this film Sunil Darshan has spoken about the similarities of both films and accused Sandeep Reddy Wanga of copying his film.

In a conversation with Bollywood bubble, Sunil Darshan discussed the similarities between the animal and the animal. When asked if he wanted to remake his films? So in response he said- ‘How should I make a remake? So many people have copied my films. An animal is a film, what is its English? What is his story? Have you seen the animal? What is the story you know? But I cannot claim, because his director’s treatment was very different. He treated the film in a very good way, but it would have been better if the producer agreed.
It was better to be silent- Sunil Darshan
Sunil Darshan further says- ‘I thought it would be fine to be silent, because more films like that have been and have proved to be a big hit. I think I am inspiring people and blockbuster films are being made. There is a very big star, he has also done a film which is similar to my film. The writer who bought him is also a big name. That film was a big hit. So if that film is seen, then it meets my film to a great extent.
Animal story
Talking about Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Animal’ (1999), Akshay is in the role of an orphan boy in the film, named Babu. Babu is a very big goon, everyone is afraid of him. Meanwhile, Babu falls in love with Sapna (Karisma Kapoor) and he makes up his mind to live a new life by going away from the world of crime. However, Sultan does not want this. Meanwhile, something happens that removes dreams and babu. After all this, Babu adopts a child, but the past once again comes in front of him and his new life is also threatened.
