Find markets in new countries

In the Alcobev India program of the Confederation of Indian Drug Drinking Companies, Dev asked the industry to find markets in new countries to increase exports and not only depend on the big market of India. He also stated that India and Australia are close to a compromise for organic products, including organic wines.

We are behind in terms of food processing

At the conference, Food Processing Secretary Subrata Gupta appealed to the liquor industry to focus on making products that are high and reduce the waste of fruits and vegetables. He said that India is ahead in many types of farming, but is still behind in terms of food processing. Gupta also emphasized on increasing the export of alcoholic beverages and said that there is a lot of potential in this industry, as it will provide foreign currency to the country.
