All 242 passengers killed in Ahmedabad aircraft accident
On Thursday afternoon, Air India’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner Plane Crashed in Ahmedabad. All 242 people aboard have died in it. News agency AP quoted the Gujarat Police Commissioner as saying.
Air India flight number AI-171 was going from Ahmedabad to London. It had a total of 230 passengers, including 169 Indians, 53 British, 7 Portuguese and one Canadian citizen. The remaining 12 were crew members.
Former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has also passed away in the accident. BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Parimal Nathwani gave this information on X. However, after some time he deleted his post.
The building with which the plane collided with doctors from the Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad. According to the information, 50 to 60 doctors were present in the building at the time of the accident, more than 15 were injured.
Most of the bodies found in place of the accident have been so badly scorched that it is very difficult to identify them. Their identity will be possible only after the DNA test.
