Allegations of harassment in IndiGo: Worker made FIR against seniors, learn the whole matter
An employee of domestic airlines Indigo has accused his seniors (senior colleagues) of harassment. It is accused of abusing casteist abuses during the company’s meeting. An FIR has also been filed by the employee in this case. According to the news of Hindustan Times, although IndiGo has denied the employee’s charge. Airlines said that if needed, it will cooperate with law enforcement agencies.

DLF Phase 1 Police Station lodged an FIR on the basis of zero complaint lodged in the capital of Karnataka. DLF Phase 1 Station House Officer Rajesh Kumar says that an FIR has been registered and investigation is going on. We are confirming the facts and action will be taken according to the law.
IndiGo describes allegations as baseless
IndiGo has described the complaint made by the employee as absolutely baseless. Rejecting the allegation, claimed that its policy towards any kind of harassment at the workplaces is of zero-tolerance. An Indigo spokesman said IndiGo is persuaded on the policy (not tolerate at all) and is strongly committed to being an inclusive and respectable workplace. IndiGo denies these allegations and maintains its values of fairness, integrity and accountability.
What was said in FIR
In the complaint made by the Indigo employee, it is written that he belongs to the Scheduled Caste Adi Dravid community. He says that he had to face caste-based comments several times at the workplace. During a meeting on 28 April, Indigo employees Tapas Dey, Manish Sahni and Captain Rahul Patil allegedly made derogatory remarks against the complainant. Sharan A has written in the FIR that caste-based oral misconduct, discrimination and threats were given. I was humiliated in front of everyone. Even before this, I faced frequent and targeted harassment and discriminatory behavior.
He further wrote that many warning letters were issued to me without any fault or evidence. The salary was cut. Sick livev was cut without any valid cause. Even the accused pressured me to resign. The employee claimed that he informed the CEO and the Ethics Committee about the alleged harassment, but no action was taken.
