Material

One medium beetroot, peeled and chopped
One medium radish, peeled and chopped
one piece kheer chopped
one spoon mustard seeds
one teaspoon fennel seeds
one spoon cumin
one spoon fenugreek seeds
one or two chopped green chillies
half teaspoon turmeric powder
Half teaspoon red chili powder
Two tablespoons lemon juice or vinegar
a cup of water
named according to taste
One tablespoon oil.

Method

First of all, wash and cut the beetroot, radish and cucumber and keep them aside. Now heat oil in a pan on medium flame. Add mustard, fennel, cumin and fenugreek seeds in it, let it crackle for 30 seconds. Lower the flame and then Add turmeric and red chili powder to it. Now add water and salt in it. Boil for 3 to 4 minutes. When it cools down a bit, pour it over the vegetables. Add lemon juice or vinegar and mix well. Now keep it for 30 minutes to settle. You can keep it for three days. Can be eaten by keeping it in the fridge.
