Before going on the journey, do a full-body checkup with your doctor once, especially if you have any problem related to heart or breath.

Pack the right accessories: The weather can change at any time during the Amarnath Yatra, so keep warm clothes, such as thermal, sweaters and jackets. Also, pack raincoats to avoid rain. Wear strong waterproof trekking shoes. Avoid slippers or sandals as it can cause slipping. Keep flashlight, power bank, first-ed kit and sunscreen. Also carry less goods.
Which way to choose?
Pahalgam and Baltal are two major routes to go on Amarnath Yatra. It takes 3-4 days to complete it from Pahalgam. It is tall but comfortable, the path. At the same time, the distance from Baltal to Amarnath is 14 kilometers and it can be completed in 1-2 days, but this path is bumpy and ladder climbing. So if you are an experienced trekker, then choose this path only.

Do not hurry and walk slowly so that the body can reconcile with height. It is very important to keep the body hydrated. Drink plenty of water. Avoid traveling alone.
