Amarnath Yatra: The Jammu Police has set up several investigation posts in Jammu to strengthen the security system before the Amarnath Yatra starting on July 3 and thwart any conspiracy. The first batch of pilgrims will leave for Kashmir: The first batch of pilgrims will leave for Kashmir from Bhagwati Nagar base camp in Jammu, 1 day before the yatra begins. The police spokesperson said that in view of the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, the Jammu Police has strengthened the security system by setting up a joint check post in many strategic places across the district. Outposts will continue for 24 hours in movement areas: The spokesperson said that these posts will be operational in high-sensitive and highly busy movement areas including the routes leading around national highways, around Jammu and routes leading to Bhagwati Nagar base camp.
