American MPs visited Taiwan, enraged China; Said- “These violations of sovereignty”

Taipei: China has erupted on a Taiwan visit by American senators. Beijing has strongly criticized Washington, calling it a violation of its sovereignty. China considers this Taiwan Island as its part and opposes any kind of contact between the officials of both sides.
Why did Taiwan go to American senator?
Republican US Senate Armed Services Committee President Roger Wicker and Nebraska’s Republican Deb Fisher arrived in Taipei on Friday. American senators have come from senior Taiwan leaders for high -level meetings. These meetings will discuss the US-Taiwan relations, regional security, business and investment. On reaching Taiwan, Wicker said, “A rich democracy is never fully sure … and we have come here to discuss with our friends and colleagues what we are doing to promote global peace.”
Fisher added, “In the time of global instability, we are very important to be here.” He said that in the conversation, “security, opportunities and progress of the region” will be discussed.
China’s Foreign Ministry expressed strong objection
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun has strongly opposed the visit of American senators. It also said that it “weakens China’s sovereignty and regional integrity and gives a serious wrong message to the separatist forces seeking Taiwan’s freedom.” Prior to this two -day visit, both Senator Hawaii, Guam, Tinian, Pala and Philippines have visited.
America gives weapons to Taiwan
America is Taiwan’s largest arms supplier. He offers the island to the island, providing state-of-the-art tanks, air defense missiles and advanced F-16 fighter aircraft to ensure its safety against Beijing’s attacks. China believes that American weapons supply to Taiwan is a violation of promises made by previous US governments. (AP)
