Bilal Ahmed stepped into the volleyball court of Pataliputra and finished the game by winning the gold medal. On the other hand, Bilal’s family had to leave Poonch at midnight.

Let me tell you that in the Khelo India Youth Games Champion running days, Bilal participated in the match played against Uttar Pradesh while playing for Jammu and Kashmir. It was told that Bilal could not sleep even a night before the match, but he put a gold medal around his neck while doing amazing in the match. Jammu and Kashmir won 3–1 in the match played against Uttar Pradesh on Thursday.

After winning the gold medal, Bilal Ahmed while talking to the Indian Express said, “Tension was very much. I am very concerned about what is happening there (Poonch). But still, I tried to focus on the game because at that time it was a very important thing for me and my teammates. I somehow handled the situation.”

Growing up in Poonch (Jammu)

Bilal hails from Poonch district, which is about 5 kilometers from the India-Pakistan border. His father Mushtaq is in Jammu and Kashmir Police. After India’s Operation Sindoor, there are frequent attacks from Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir.

Family came out of asking at midnight

Bilal said, “My parents and the whole family live there (Poonch). There was a sudden attack in the middle of the night. My family came out of there without any loss, but their good care was going on in my mind. I told myself that you cannot change the situation there. You can give 100 percent of your 100 percent in court.”
