Amit Shah introduced the new cooperative policy: said- Concept of developed India

Home Minister Amit Shah introduced a new cooperative policy at Atal Akshaya Energy Bhawan in New Delhi. He said that this would strengthen the concept of developed India.

He said that this policy has been made keeping in mind the needs and development of India. Cooperatives, that is, the thinking of working together can understand the same government which is connected to the land of the country.

Shah further said, “If the villages, farmers and common people are happy, connected to employment and satisfied, then the economy of the country will never be weak.”

He told that the purpose of this new policy is. Strengthening cooperative institutions, making villages self -reliant and giving new employment to people.

He also directed all the states to formulate their state cooperative policy by 31 January 2026.

This policy has been made for the next 20 years i.e. 2045. Under this, committees will open in every panchayat. The objective of the policy is to further strengthen the cooperative societies made in every village, so that people can get employment by joining themselves and participate in the progress of the country.

Cooperative institutions will be established in every village of the country. By February 2026, 2 lakh primary agricultural credit societies (PACS) will be set up.

  1. The goal of policy is to develop India by 2047
    Shah said that while making this policy, it was taken care that its center should be people, village, agriculture, women, Dalits and tribals.

He further said, ‘If it is called in a sentence, then its vision is- to create a developed India by 2047 through the prosperity of cooperation. Its mission is to create professional, transparent, technically competent, responsible, economically independent and successful small cooperative institutions.

  1. Everyone with everyone, everyone’s development is true model
    Shah said, ‘PM Modi formed the Ministry of Cooperatives with a distance so that every section of the society can be connected together. As long as not every citizen will participate in development, no model will be successful. This policy will enable every region to and ready for the future in the next 25 years.

A committee of 48 members was formed for cooperative policy
A 48 -member committee was formed under the chairmanship of former Union Minister Suresh Prabhu, which included officials and knowledgeable people of cooperative institutions, central and state governments across the country.

The committee held 17 meetings and 4 workshops in cities like Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Gurugram and Patna. In this, 648 suggestions from across the country were carefully understood and included in this policy.

Actually, the government wants villages, farmers and small traders to move forward together. For this, this policy has been made, which will help people to develop self -reliant and country through cooperatives for the next 20 years.
