According to reports, the actor from Kerala died of a heart attack. This tragic incident occurred during the shooting of the film, followed by an atmosphere of mourning on the set.

According to Hindustan Times, Kalabhavan Niju died on Thursday night in Bengaluru, where he was shooting for Kantara: Chapter 1. Niju complained of chest pain, after which he was immediately rushed to the hospital. But doctors declared him dead.
