Anant Ambani will get so many crores of salary from Reliance, commission including commission in profit will also get these allowances
Billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani Anant Ambani, who was appointed Executive Director in the major company Reliance Industries among the youngest sons and three siblings, will be given several allowances including salary of Rs 10-20 crore annually and commission on the company’s profits. This information has been given in the information sent to the shareholders. The three elder children of Asia’s richest person Mukesh Ambani – Judwan Akash and Isha, and Anant were included in the company’s board in 2023 as Non‑exectivate Directors. At the same time, in April this year, only Anant was made the Executive Director of Reliance Industries Limited. The three did not take any salary as non -executive directors, but in FY 2023–24 they received a fee of Rs 4 lakh and a commission of Rs 97 lakh. As Executive Director, 30 -year -old Anant will now be entitled to regular salary and other remunerations.
Approval of shareholders sought
In the notice given to the stock market on Sunday, Reliance said that the approval of the shareholders for the appointment of Anant Ambani has been sought from the postal ballot. Annant’s annual salary and allowances will be within the range of Rs 10–20 crore. These allowances will include housing or rent allowance, house maintenance and allowance of utilities (gas, electricity, water, decoration and repair), and holiday travel concession for themselves and dependents. The appointment is part of the succession scheme launched in 2023, when Mukesh Ambani’s three elder children – Judwan Akash and Isha, and Anant were included in the board as non -executive directors. The Akash Group’s telecommunications lead the vertical, Isha is in Reliance Retail and Geo Financial Services, while Anant works with materials and renewable energy segments and will now carry out the responsibilities of the Executive Director in association with professional managers.
Wife will also get expenses
Anant will also get the money for his or his wife and business trip for the assistants for traveling, food and residence. Along with the company’s business and the cost of communication expenditure at the residence will also be available. He will also be entitled to systematic safety by the company for his and his family members along with healing. The notification states that apart from salary, allowances and facilities, Anant M. Ambani will be entitled to remuneration on the basis of net profit. Unlike Mukesh Ambani, who had to quit studies from Stanford to take care of his father’s business, twin children Isha and Akash graduated from Yale and Brown respectively. The eldest son Akash joined the leadership team of the group’s telecom unit Jio in 2014 after completing college. He was made the chairman of the telecom unit Jio Infocomm in June 2022. He also manages the Mumbai Indians cricket team in the Indian Premier League. Isha handles the company’s retail, e-commerce and luxury business.
