Kantara Chapter 1 actor Kalabhavan Niju died of a heart attack during the shooting of the film in Bangalore. Niju suddenly started chest pain, after which he was taken to the hospital but the actor could not be saved, causing a wave of mourning in the team of the entire film.

According to the report by Onmanoma, homestay was booked for junior artists of Kantara Chapter 1. Niju was also living here. Meanwhile, suddenly Niju started having chest pain and was taken to the nearest hospital, but could not be saved. This is the second death after the shooting of the film began, which has shook the entire team.
Niju’s career
According to reports, Niju died on Thursday night during the shooting of the film ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ in Bengaluru. Kalabhavan Niju was active in South Cinema for the last 25 years. Along with working as an actor in many films, he was also an excellent mimicry artist. He started his career with a roadshow organized by a group of mimicry artists years ago and in the last few years, he gained recognition in films like ‘Unni Mukundan’, ‘Deva Nanda’ and ‘Saiju Kurup’. Niju was last seen in ‘Marco’.
A junior artist died about a month ago
This is not the first time that Rishabh Shetty’s ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ has passed away. About a month ago, another junior artist Kapil, another junior artist of the film, died of drowning in the river near the shooting location of the film. The film’s team had told that during the Kapil lunch break, Kapil went to swim in the river Sauparnika and he was swept away due to a strong current in the river and died due to drowning. The rescue operation was later started, in which his body was recovered. Earlier, a bus carrying junior artists to shooting location was also overturned.
