An Air India flight going from San Francisco to Mumbai to Kolkata, from Kolkata, caused a technical fault. Due to this, passengers had to land from the aircraft during the halt at Kolkata Airport on Tuesday.
Flight reached Kolkata late night from America
Air India flight number AI-180 from San Francisco to Kolkata to Kolkata reached the city airport late at 12:45 pm, but the flight delayed due to technical fault in the left engine.
Passengers were asked to land around 5 am
An announcement was made by the pilot in the aircraft at around 05:20 am in which all the passengers were asked to get off the aircraft. The Captain of the flight told the passengers that the decision is being taken in the interest of flight security.
Flight being inspected after technical fault
The video shows that the left engine of Air India aircraft stood on the Termac of Kolkata Airport, while the ground staff is inspecting the area. He was parked at the airport after a technical fault in the aircraft.
