30 Days for Indian and Taiwanese Travelers

Visa-Free Access for Chinese Visitors Pre-Pandemic

Prior to the pandemic, Thailand had already removed the need for a visa for Chinese visitors, who accounted for 11 million arrivals in 2019. This was done in September. According to the most recent government data, Thailand saw 22 million tourists between January and October 29, bringing in 927.5 billion baht (or roughly $25.67 billion) for the national economy.

India’s Growing Popularity as a Tourist Destination

India is becoming a more popular destination for inbound travelers as more airlines and lodging companies focus on this market. About 28 million tourists are expected to arrive this year, according to the government, in an effort to counteract the ongoing slump in exports, which has been impeding economic progress.
