In fact, BCCI’s medical team has informed that Shami may have to face a lot of difficulty in throwing long spells at the moment. Due to which the England series is very less likely to play. This is why BCCI cannot take Shami for the England Test series.

The selectors want to team the team of spell bowlers:

For information, let us know that the selectors of the Test team want to include the bowlers who are able to throw long spells. Currently, Mohammadi Shami is bowling for SRH in the IPL 2025 season. In which he bowls only 4 overs but BCCI and the selector do not feel that he can bowl 10 overs in 1 day or not.

According to sources, Mohammed Shami has been running away from Test cricket for the last almost 2 years. In the year 2023, he played the World Test Curries against Australia last time. After which he was injured in the ODI World Cup in the same year, after which he has not yet joined the team. Telling about Shami’s performance of IPL 2025 season, Shami has played 9 matches this season in which she has taken only 6 wickets in her name.
