Apple is considering making Smart Glasses by asking for feedback from employees
Apple Smart Glasses: According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is reportedly considering entering the smart glasses market and has begun an internal survey of employees’ thoughts on wearables.
According to the report, Apple has codenamed the project “Atlas” and it is overseen by Apple’s hardware engineering department. The project reportedly began last week and only involves a limited number of Apple employees, as the company aims to keep it as secret as possible.
Apple wants project members to carefully examine the smart glasses currently available on the market and identify what they like and dislike about them. This will give Apple an idea of the features an average user wants in its augmented reality eyewear.
Initially, Apple was said to have planned to launch its AR glasses after the debut of its Vision Pro mixed reality headset, but technical difficulties led it to halt the project last year and indefinitely postpone the launch date.
