Apple has made serious allegations against Oppo, a smartphone -making Chinese company Oppo. The iPhone maker claims that the member working in the first Apple Watch team has stolen the company’s trade secret as soon as he joined the Chinese firm. Apple has accused the sensor system architect chain Xi of the theft of Apple’s Health Sensins Technology’s Confidential Documents by accessing the Oppo by escaping from the theft.
Serious allegations against Oppo
According to a Bloomberg report, Chen Xi was Apple’s employee till June. Before leaving Apple, he stole the company’s trade secret and benefited Oppo. Apple has lodged a complaint against Oppo in the Sen Jose Federal Court of California. However, Oppo denied this and said that no evidence is telling that the company has a link in it.
In his complaint, Apple said that Dr. Xi was involved in dozens of meetings with the company’s current Watch Research Team. 3 days before leaving Apple, he downloaded 63 documents from the protected box folder. He transferred those documents to USB drive a day earlier. The American company alleges that the Chinese company has taken advantage of these trade secrets after joining Oppo.
Oppo replied
At the same time, Oppo spokesperson says that we are aware of the trial. We are reviewing Apple’s complaint. We have not found any evidence supporting the allegations made by Apple, which proves that they have done something like this while working in Oppo. Oppo respects the trade secrets of every company. Oppo has not misused Apple’s trade secrets. Oppo is ready to fully cooperate in the legal process. We have full faith in the judicial system.
