Arshad Madani said- Believing campaign is unfortunate: Supreme Court rules
A delegation of seven members of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind arrived in Golpada, Assam, after the eviction campaign being run by the Himanta government. Chairman Arshad Madani said on Tuesday that eviction campaign should be done as per the Supreme Court’s fixed rules.
Madani said- Assam government should work within the system for eviction, not it hatched. However, Assam CM denied Maulana Madani’s remarks and warned of legal action if needed.
Sarma said- Who is Madni, what is God. The Congress is the bravery of Madani only then. There is no evidence of Madani’s bravery in BJP’s time. If he does more, I will send Madni to jail. I am the Chief Minister, not Madani.
Arshad Madani said- The system is violating, it is condemnable
Madni told the media, “A eviction campaign is being carried out in the state. I went to many areas yesterday. I feel sad to see what is being done here. I feel very sad, especially because the community and the country are formed under one system. If anything is done by violating the system, it is ignored and crushed, it is unfortunate and painful.
Sarma had said- every Muslim goes to Bangladesh
Earlier, CM Sarma had said that if the Jamiat leaders come to the state and do something, they will be arrested and sent to Bangladesh. To this Madani said, “I am in his kingdom since tomorrow. They are saying that every Muslim should be sent to Bangladesh. So those who are spreading hatred in this country should go to Pakistan.”
He said without naming someone- “Dakshin Chintu should go to Pakistan. Why should they live in this beautiful country, where there is harmony and ancient civilization? We did not become the oldest and greatest civilization by using such words.”
Assam CM said- See the fate of those occupying the land
After the eviction campaign, Chief Minister Sarma said about Madani’s visit that we have given him permission to go, so that they can see what happens if someone encroachs on the land.
The Chief Minister alleged that outsiders are misleading the villagers on land issues. They do not even news before coming and later blame the BJP, but the BJP is not afraid of anyone.
Here, Madani had said in response to Sarma’s talk that Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind does not oppose the removal of encroachment, but he is against injustice and cruelty.
The government needs land for works like widening of roads, but all eviction should be according to the direction of the Supreme Court.
