Astronaut Shubhanshu said after reaching space
Indian Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla left for the International Space Station on 25 June today i.e. under the Exium Mission 4. His mission was averted 6 times due to technical difficulties. Three other astronauts along with him also left for the space station.
After reaching the space, Shubhanshu said- What a ride. The tricolor on my shoulder tells that I am with all of you. At the same time, Shubhanshu’s parents Asha Shukla and Shambhu Dayal Shukla became emotional when the launching was successful. He expressed happiness by clapping the son’s success.
The mission was launched from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida at around 12:00 pm Indian time. All Astronauts flew into the dragon capsules associated with SpaceX’s Falcon-9 rocket. This spacecraft will be connected to ISS at 04:30 pm on 26 June after about 28.5 hours.
After 41 years, an Indian astronaut went to space
Indian Air Force Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla has been selected for this mission as part of an agreement between US space agency NASA and Indian agency ISRO. Shubhanshu is the first Indian to visit the International Space Station and the second Indian to visit the space. 41 years before this, Rakesh Sharma traveled space in 1984 with a spacecraft of the Soviet Union.
This experience of Shubhanshu will be useful in the Gaganyaan Mission of India. This is India’s first human space mission, which aims to send Indian sky passengers to the lower orbit of the Earth. It is likely to be launched in 2027. In India, Astronaut is called Gaganayatri. Similarly, Cosmonott in Russia and Taikonott in China are called.
