Automobile Sales in July 2025: In July 2025, there has been a tremendous bounce in the sale of Mahindra & Mahindra. In July, Mahindra’s total sales rose 26 percent to 83,691 units on an annual basis, compared to 66,444 units in July last year. The company said that during this time it sold 49,871 SUVs in the domestic market, which is 20 percent higher than the 41,623 SUVs sold in July last year. JSW MG Motor India sales increased by 46 percent to 6678 units in July in July. The company sold 4,575 vehicles in July 2024.
Maruti Suzuki, Toyota’s sales also boom
Maruti Suzuki sales rose 3 percent to 1,80,526 units in July 2025. The company sold 1,75,041 vehicles in July 2024. Maruti Suzuki India said the sales in the segment of small cars including Alto and S -reso declined to 6822 units in July 2024 as compared to 9960 units. The sales of compact cars like Baleno, Dzire, Ignis and Swift increased from 58,682 units to 65,667 units on an annual basis. The sales of Toyota Kirloskar, a company selling popular vehicles like Fortuner and Innova, rose 3 percent to 32,575 units in July in July. The company sold 31,656 vehicles in July last year.
Decline recorded in sales of Tata Motors
On the other hand, sales of other major automobile companies like Tata Motors and Hyundai have declined in July. The total wholesale sales of the domestic automobile company Tata Motors declined by 4 percent to 69,131 units in July 2025, as compared to 71,996 in July 2024. The company said that the total domestic sales declined by 12 percent to 39,521 units last month, compared to 44,725 units in July last year. Last month, the company’s total passenger vehicles fell by 11 percent to 40,175 units, which was 44,954 units in July 2024.
Hyundai sales also decreased
Hyundai Motor India said on Friday that its total sales in July declined 7 percent to 60,073 units on an annual basis. The Korean company said it had sold a total of 64,563 vehicles in July last year. Whereas, sales of Hyundai’s subsidiary Kia India have registered an increase. Kia’s sales increased by 8 percent to 22,135 units in July in July. The company sold 20,507 vehicles in July 2024.
