The Axiom-4 mission to be launched for the International Space Station has been postponed for the third time due to bad weather. Now this mission will be launched on June 11 at around 5:30 pm. Four Astronauts from four countries in the Axiom Mission 4 are going to visit the space station for 14 days.

Shubhanshu will be the first Indian to go to ISS

Indian Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla is also included in this mission. Shubhanshu will be the first Indian to go to ISS and in space. In such a situation, Shubhanshu Shukla rehearsed full dress before going ISS. Shubhanshu says that he is very lucky that he has got a chance to be a part of this mission.

Flight will be filled with Kennedy Space Center in Florida

The Falcon-9 rocket of the company ‘SpaceX’ was to fly in the US from the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida on Tuesday evening to travel to the international space station. ISRO President V. Narayanan said, ‘Due to the weather conditions, the launch of the Axiaom-4 mission has been postponed to send the Indian Gaganyatri to the international space station to 11 June 2025 instead of 10 June 2025. The new time of launching is on 11 June 2025 (Indian time) at 5:30 pm.

After 41 years, an Indian will go to space

India’s human space flight is returning after 41 years from Shukla’s space trip. Earlier in 1984, Rakesh Sharma created history by traveling to space from Soviet Russia’s Soyuz spacecraft. Lucknow-born Shukla is part of the ISRO-NASA-backed commercial space flight team run by Axiom Space.

These three other people will also be present along with Shukla

The Ex-4 (X-4) mission consists of Commander Paigi Whitson, Pilot Shukla and expert Hungary’s Tigor Kapu and Slavose Uznansky-Vynevski of Poland. This 14-day mission will ‘realize’ return of human space flight to India, Poland and Hungary. (With language input)
