Axiom Mission 4: How challenging will be Shubhanshu Shukla’s space journey, what will all do there? Learn from space expert
Expert Professor RC Kapoor spoke on the Axiom 4 mission.
The Axiom-4 (AXIOM-4) mission, which is going to be launched for the International Space Station, is going to leave for space on 11 June. It is expected that there will be launch at around 5:30 pm. Let us tell you that four astronauts from four countries will visit the space station for 14 days in the Acom-4 mission. An astronaut in this mission is also from India named Shubhanshu Shukla. Shubhanshu Shukla has also been selected for India’s first human mission Gaganyaan in space. So what will be the role of Shubhanshu Shukla in the Axiom-4 mission? What will be the benefit of his visit in Gaganyaan Mission? What experiments will the astronaut do in the Axiaom-4 mission and how challenging this journey will be? India TV has interacted with Space Expert Professor RC Kapoor about all these questions. Let’s know what he has said about Axiom-4 Mission and Shubhanshu Shukla.
What will Shubhanshu Shukla do in space?
Space expert professor RC Kapoor has informed that more than 60 experiments are to be done by various agencies in the Axiom-4 mission. India’s astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla will also do 7 experiments. There are some experiments from ISRO with NASA and European Space Agency (ESA) which are quite important. Professor RC Kapoor has said that Shubhanshu Shukla will carry out 7 micro gravity based experiments during the space journey.
How important is the selection of Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla?
Space Expert Professor RC Kapoor has said that the fourth mission of Axiom includes Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla which is a matter of happiness. In the year 2020, 60 people were shortlisted for the Gaganyaan Mission. After the Level 1 examination, 12 people were selected and their training started. Of these, 4 astronauts were selected in the final process, one of which is also a group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla. Professor RC Kapoor said that this is going to be a great experience for India, ISRO and Shubhanshu Shukla.
How will the experience of Axiom Mission work in Gaganyaan?
Professor RC Kapoor has informed that when Shubhanshu Shukla goes to Gaganyaan, this experience is very useful for further. The preparation till now was about Gaganyaan. It is our own mission. The crew of SpaceX in Axiom is a dragon. He should be family with mechanism. Shubhanshu Shukla has been there and has acquired it to participate in various operations. Shubhanshu Shukla will also get benefit in the Gaganyaan Mission after this space journey. He will also share his experience with fellow astronauts.
Why is the space operation called Fragel?
Space operation is considered a quite a quite a race mission. Even a small lapse here can do big losses. Professor RC Kapoor has told that a large number of things have to work properly then you reach space. One omission can be mathematically with all things. There is radiation in space which comes prominently from the Sun. There are many reactions here which affect our communication system. Every astronaut is exposed to radiation. Astronauts cannot live there for more than a thousand days.
What will be challenges in the space mission?
Space stations do not have spacecraft in space suits. In our 24 hours, the space station travels around the Earth 15.7 times. It is running at a speed of 27724 km per hour. If astronauts are inside it, they do not feel it. The first effect in the environment of that microgravity has the first effect on our muscles. They have to exercise for many hours during the space trip. This is how we save our muscles. Talking about nutrition, the food goes to its choice from here. Mysore’s Defense Food Research Laboratory has made a great list for Gaganyaan Mission. The same things that are found in the normal cafe have been prepared- Upma, Biryani, Idli, Halwa etc.
What will be the benefit of using nutritional food and salad seeds?
Professor RC Kapoor has reported that the Axiom-4 mission is expected to use a sallad seed in space. On this, he said that if we can produce food for ourselves by ourselves, then you have come to know that there was a flower feeding in the space station. Pizza was made. Green Gram and fenugreek seeds are being sent. They will be sprouted there and then bring back in the coming time. We have to see what changes can happen in genetics. All this has to be done within 14 days. What is the effect on the seed to be seen. An Etighty Grade Micro Organism is also being sent which is 1.5 millimeters from the half millimeter. This is the most living organism in the world, which will also remain in a state of de-hydration. It can tolerate a thousand times the ultravoyolat emission as compared to humans. This is very important. Micro algi is also used. He can work as a food supplement. So it will be studied under Grow Your on Food. This includes many other laboratory including the Indian Institute of Science.
Professor RC Kapoor said that every astronaut has its own role in the Axiom-4 mission. There are many experiments of access to the space station. A large part of the daily routine is going to exercise. They have to do experiments in the time left. We learn it. The space station has the highest water shortage. It will also be told how to save water.
Demand for Bharat Ratna for ISRO
There are currently 650 industries including DRDO for Gaganyaan. The biggest industry of the country is with ISRO. This is a great progress on which we should be proud and ISRO should get Bharat Ratna. Let us tell you that India’s Gaganyaan Mission is proposed in 2027.
