The agency has issued this alert regarding smartphones, smart TVs and audio devices with MediaTek chipset. According to CERT-in, many products of MediaTek have many major weaknesses, which can harm people by taking advantage of cyber criminals.
Many flaws found in MediaTek
According to CERT-in (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team), many types of weaknesses such as Nal Puinter Derfection, Heat Overflow, Impropel Autorization have been found in MediaTek’s Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and IMS service. According to the agency, by taking advantage of these deficiencies, users can easily reach the device and control the device. There is a need to be more alert because this danger is not limited to smartphones only. This time the danger is also on media -tech smart TV and audio devices.
