South African star bowler Enrichia has been eliminated from the current version of Major League Cricket (MLC) due to injury. Northern has withdrawn the name from this season due to injury. 31 -year -old Northern was to play for KKR’s associate franchise Los Angeles Knight Riders (LAKR) in Major League cricket.

Knight Riders have not yet given detailed information about Northern injury, but have wished the right -handed fast bowler to recover quickly and also named a replacement for the injured star. A statement by the Clubicrick SA quoted SA as saying, “Team updates – Windies all -rounder Dominic Drakes will replace Enrik Northern for the 2025 MLC season.

If he had played Northern this season, it would have been his third season in MLC. The right -handed fast bowler played for Washington Freedom for the first year and in 2024 he moved to Mi New York in Major League cricket. However, for this season, KKR included the African fast bowler in 6.5 crores, but now due to his injury, the expectations of Knight Riders have suffered a major setback.

Meanwhile, 27 -year -old Dominic Drax is ready to make his debut at MLC. The West Indies star last played for the Windies in 2023. Los Angeles Knight Riders will launch their campaign against San Francisco Unicorn on 15 June. In such a situation, he would like the team to perform well even without Northern.

Northern’s Major League not playing is also a setback for South Africa as Northern has been in and out of the team for a long time due to injury and he is also an important player of the African team, so if he plays in the Major League, he would open the doors of return to the African team, but now it seems that it is going to be long.
