Telugu actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna has once again joined director Boyapati Sreenu for Akhanda 2- Thaandavam. The duo last worked together in 2021, for Akhanda, which was a massive hit. This film is a sequel to the 2021 superhit.
Produced by Raam Achanta and Gopi Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner, the movie will be presented by Nandamuri Tejeswini.
The music for the movie will be given by Thaman. Filming will commence soon, and further details will also be announced soon.

The duo, apart from Akhanda, also worked in Legend (2014) and Simha (2010), which were also huge hits, marking important milestones in both Balakrishna and Boyapati’s careers.
Boyapati, who is known for his action entertainers, is expected to deliver another high-energy hit for Balakrishna.
Their second collaboration, Legend earned a distinction for running 1,116 days in theatres, and no other film could surpass the feat in Tollywood until now.
Balakrishna was last seen in Bhagavant Kesari (2023) under the direction of Anil Ravipudi. In the film, he played the guardian forSreeleela’s Vijji. The movie, released for Dasara, received mixed reviews and was a commercial hit.
Meanwhile, Balakrishna has wrapped up shooting for NBK109 under the direction of Bobby Kolli.
NBK109 also made headlines after the makers roped in Bollywood actor Bobby Deol for the antagonist’s role. It also casts Dulquer Salmaan, Shraddha Srinath, and Urvashi Rautela and key roles.
Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya are bankrolling this prestigious project with a huge budget under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinema. Srikara Cinema is the presenter. Thaman is composing the tunes and background score for this action entertainer too.
On the other hand, Boyapati Sreenu’s last directorial Skanda, did not perform well.
