Dr. Chand said, “Balochistan in your Red Fort address was accepted by Baloch people around the world as a sign of moral support for a nation, which Pakistan has occupied, has been subjected to it and has terrorized it.”

In a letter to PM Modi, Balochistan has been told the history of forcibly incorporating in Pakistan after the British left in 1948, which Dr. Chand has described the beginning of “cruel occupation”. He has claimed that Baloch people have faced acts such as a massacre made by the “Jihadi army” supported by Pakistan’s leading military establishment in Rawalpindi GAQ. The letter claimed, “ruled by a Jihadi army, it is responsible for the disappearance, torture, deaths and displacement of thousands of my countrymen, a poorly envisaged country.”

The Baloch leader insisted that these actions are part of a major campaign to suppress the Baloch National Liberation Movement, which has been going on for several decades. He also stated that China’s participation as a colonial force in Balochistan presents an additional geopolitical threat. Tara Chand expressed disappointment that the Baloch National Liberation Movement has not received international support. He said, “Apart from Indian media, the atrocities committed by Pakistan in Pakistan -occupied Balochistan have received very little recognition.” He urged India to play a leading role on the global stage in raising awareness about this situation.

Chand argued that an independent and cooperative Balochistan would benefit the peace-loving people of India, inspiring India to see Balochistan as an important geopolitical element of the 21st century.
