Dhaka: Bangladesh Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus on Saturday greeted Janmashtami to the Hindu community of the country and said that the teachings of Lord Krishna will help strengthen “mutual goodwill and brotherhood” and to maintain the “existing system and communal harmony” of the country. Yunus’s best wishes have come amid widespread concerns about the incidents of frequent incidents of Hindu community members and alleged attacks on their places of worship after coming to power in August last year.

He appealed to the people to be vigilant, so that no one could weaken the existing system and communal harmony.
