Bank holiday 13 August: On Wednesday, August 13, banks will have a holiday and there will be no work of any kind. In the event of a bank closure, common customers will not be all the work for which you have to go to the bank. However, online banking or digital banking services will continue. Today, this holiday of banks will remain in only one state and in all other states, banks will work like normal days. According to the RBI, all government and private banks will remain closed today in the northeastern state of Manipur. Patriot’s Day is being celebrated on August 13 in Manipur, for which all banks of the state will be holiday today.

Banks will be closed for 3 consecutive days this week

On August 15, on the occasion of Independence Day, all banks across the country will have a holiday. Banks will remain closed in most states of the country on the next day of August 15 i.e. on Saturday, August 16. August 16 is a big festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. On the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, all government and private banks of Gujarat, Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Telangana, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Meghalaya and Andhra Pradesh will be holiday. After August 16, on Sunday, August 17, all the banks of the country will be closed. That is, this week, in most states of the country, all banks will remain closed for 3 consecutive days.

All banks will be discharged in every state of the country on 19 and 25 August

On Tuesday, August 19, on the occasion of the birthday of Maharaj Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur, all banks in Tripura state will be holiday. Maharaj Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur was born on 19 August 1908 in Tripura. He was the king of Tripura, known as the creator of modern Tripura. Subsequently, on August 25, all government and private banks will be holiday in Assam. In Assam, on August 25, Shrimant Shankardev’s Tirobabhav date will be celebrated, so all banks will remain closed on that day.
