Banka of Bihar won, reached the top in the revenue rankings of April, know the full list of top-10: April Revenue Rankings: On Banka Top, Sheikhpura and Madhubani jumped
- Bihar April Revenue Rankings: The Department of Revenue and Land Reforms of Bihar has released the ranking list of Additional Samyakta (Revenue) offices of April. This ranking has once again proved which district has excelled in the field of revenue administration. This month, the Additional Samyukta (ADM) Revenue Office of Banka district has defeated everyone, while Sheikhpura has occupied the second place.

- This time the ranking has seen a change in the situation of many districts. Madhubani, who was in sixth position last month, has reached third place after performing well this time. On the other hand, Jehanabad, which was first in second place, is now on the fourth position. Nalanda has also reached the fifth position, slipping down one place. Aurangabad has made a big jump – he was ninth in the last month and has now reached the sixth place.
- Kaimur has retained its seventh position, while Sitamarhi also holds the eighth place. Kishanganj has also improved ninth and Darbhanga has improved from eleventh to tenth.
- Ranking is decided based on the efficiency of revenue works
- The Revenue and Land Reforms Department ranks the ADM (Revenue) offices of each district based on the quality and timeliness of the work done by them. The ranking includes various types of revenue work such as monitoring of filing and dismissing, supervision of Parimarjan Plus, inspection of zone offices, and online judicial hearing.
- Ranking criteria and score distribution
- The following parameters are included in determining the ranking:
- Supervision of filing and dismissing: 15%
- Supervision of Parimarjan Plus: 15%
- Inspection of zone offices: 10%
- Campaign Basera 2: 15%
- Admission-referred revision: 20%
- Aadhaar seeding status: 5%
- Jambandi cancellation: 15%
- Online Hearing: 5%
- According to all these criteria, the districts are given marks, and the ranking is fixed based on the total score.
- Revenue minister’s strict stand – Monitoring on backward districts continues
- Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Shri Sanjay Saraogi has said that special monitoring is being done on the districts whose performance has been less than expected. Constant reviews are being done by senior officials from district level to state headquarters so that ordinary citizens do not face any kind of problem in land related works.
