BCCI announced the Test team to be played from August 7, these 15 players get a golden opportunity against Australia

BCCI: BCCI has announced a 15 -member team for the upcoming Test match against Australia. Starting on August 7, this much awaited Test match will give players a golden opportunity to prove themselves in red-ball cricket. The selectors have given a place in the team to young faces and some experienced players, which has increased the enthusiasm about this series.

In fact, BCCI has announced India A (four -day) women’s team for the Australia Test starting on August 7. The team will play a four -day match as part of this Buparyayi tour, which will be held in Alan Border Field, Queensland.

BCCI has given a chance to many young and talented players in the 15 -member team. This includes names like Shefali, Tejal, Raghavi Bist, Uma Chhetri (wicketkeeper), Sadhu and Syima Thakor. The selection of leg -spinner Priya Mishra is dependent on BCCI’s fitness clearance.

Radha Yadav gets captaincy, Meeninu Mani will be vice -captain

The team’s command has been handed over to veteran all -rounder Radha Yadav, while Minnu Mani has been made the vice -captain. Minnu has also captained the A team on the tour of Australia earlier, which can benefit the team.

This tour of India A will start from August 7 and will run till August 24. The first three T20s will be held in McKay, followed by three ODIs in Brisbane, and finally the much awaited four -day match will be played at the Alan Border Field.

Shefali returns to ODI, Patil-Sadhu also opportunity

Shefali Verma has returned to the ODI team, who played the last ODI against New Zealand in Ahmedabad in October 2024. He was dropped from the team due to poor form. Last year, Shefali scored just 108 runs in six ODIs.

All -rounders Shreyamka Patil and Titas Sadhu have also returned, the monk remained out of WPL and other series. Patil has been included in the T20 team. Fast bowler Sadhu was also out of the tour of Sri Lanka due to injury after WPL. Now she is also returning to the team.
