BCCI confidently expressed confidence in 14 unmarried players including Indian Squad, Shubman – Parag for Asia Cup 2025
Asia cup 2025: Preparations for the Asia Cup 2025 (Asia Cup 2025) have intensified and meanwhile the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has started short listing players for the Indian squad. According to latest reports, this time the selectors have more confidence in young and unmarried players. The selection committee has a special eye on names like Shubman Gill, Ryan Parag, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Abhishek Sharma.
BCCI can play bets on youth
Keeping in mind the T20 World Cup 2026, the Asia Cup 2025 (Asia Cup 2025) is to be organized in T20 format this time. According to BCCI sources, this time the team selection for the Asia Cup is also being given priority to “Focus and fitness” as well as “focus and discipline”. This is the reason why the selectors can give preference to the young and unmarried players right now.
Balance of experience and young enthusiasm
Experienced players like Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah and Suryakumar Yadav for Asia Cup 2025 (Asia Cup 2025) are also likely to get a place in the team, but the main focus will be to give the youth a chance. The selectors believe that the Asia Cup can prove to be a major preparation keeping the 2026 T20 World Cup in mind.
As per the recently announced program by ACC, the Asia Cup 2025 is scheduled to be held in September 2025 (Asia Cup 2025) and the tournament will be held in UAE. India and Pakistan have been placed in the same group, hoping for a high voltage match to cricket lovers.

While Shubman Gill is considered to be the future captain of Team India, Ryan Parag has impressed the selectors by performing brilliantly in IPL 2025. The two have seen youth enthusiasm and hunger to score runs. Apart from this, unmarried players like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Verma, Rinku Singh, Rahul Tripathi, Umran Malik, Ishaan Kishan Ravi Bishnoi and Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh and Mohammad Siraj can be included in the squad.
