Bcci announs updated venues for team india: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made a major change in the venue of the domestic series against Australia, West Indies and South Africa. The BCCI had to take a big step due to the change in the stadium. So let’s know what changes have been made for which series.
BCCI changed the venue
The Indian team has to play Tests, ODIs and T20 series against West Indies and South Africa. The Test series against the West Indies starts from October 02. The first match will be played in Ahmedabad. Then the second Test of the series will be held at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, which was to be played in Kolkata earlier. At the same time, the first Test against South Africa has been shifted to Eden Gardens in Delhi.
Chennai also shifted matches
The three -match ODI series played between the women’s teams of India and Australia has been shifted from here due to the renewal at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Now the first two matches of the series will be held at New PCA Stadium in New Chandigarh and the third match will be held at Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Venue changes for South Africa-A series (BCCI)
South Africa’s A team has to play two multi-day and three ODI ODIs against India-A. The multi -day matches will be played at the Center of Excellence in Bangalore. Whereas, all three ODIs have shifted to Saurashtra Cricket Association from M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
