South Superstar Dhanush’s film Kubera is releasing in theaters today. In this film by director Shekhar Kammula, National Award winning actor Dhanush plays a beggar who faces challenges in his life. At the film’s pre-release event in Hyderabad, Dhanush said that the actor tried his best to play this character. Dhanush told that he had begged the streets of Tirupati for this role.

Kubera is my 51st Tamil film and my second Telugu film with Sir. Actually, Shekhar sir had sent the script of Kubera to me before the head. Film being released in theaters today
In the trailer, fans got a glimpse of Dhanush’s character. He was almost not recognized in the trailer wearing a thick beard and wearing torn clothes. The film also stars Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandana and Jim Sarbh in the lead roles. This will be Dhanush’s first film in Telugu. This is also his first release of this year. The All India release has been approved by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Kubera has received the UA certificate from CBFC, as 19 scenes were cut from the original cut, which made the film 13 minutes and 41 seconds. The film Kubera, produced by Sunil Narang and Pushkar Rammohan Rao of Amigos Creations, has been released on 20 June.
