What attracted you to the role of Mr. Multani, and do you relate to his character?
Mr. Multani is a character which has so many shades. It’s not like a linear character, positive or negative. It is a mysterious character. In real life also, I have so many different shades and different thoughts and emotions in myself. So, it is very interesting to portray all this character and all those emotions.
You often wear rings, hats, and trench coats. Do these things mean something special to your character?
The signature rings, hats, and trench coats – every accessory and garment are essential details for my character. These are more than just elements of dressing up, they embody a lifestyle—a stylish, larger-than-life persona that resonates with my character. When the camera is on, I feel excited to portray Mr Multani, and every shot feels like a masterpiece.
As an actor, how do you play a character like Mr. Multani, who is mysterious?
To play a mysterious character is very interesting and challenging for an actor because at the end of the scene, at the end of the dialogues, you always leave a matter of doubt, a matter of suspense in the audience’s mind with the portrayal. It is very intriguing to play a character like Multani who is mysterious, which has so many shades to him, and I’m enjoying playing it.
What makes Mr. Multani different from other characters in Vanshaj?
In Vanshaj, while most characters are either good or bad, mine stands out as a mystery. Neither fully good nor entirely bad, I bring a range of shades and colours to the story. It’s this complexity that makes my character unique, adding depth to the story and leaving viewers intrigued.
Can you give viewers a clue about what will happen to Mr. Multani in future episodes?
Mr. Multani’s entry in Vanshaj will bring out a lot of hidden secrets and truths. His presence will shake things up, making characters and viewers learn new things.
