Irfan Dig at Team Management for overcaring Bumrah: After India’s defeat in Lord’s Test, questions are being raised on the team management’s strategy. Especially Irfan Pathan has reacted sharply regarding Jaspreet Bumrah’s ‘Workload Management’. He has made a big statement comparing Bumrah’s low bowling and full involvement of England all -rounder Ben Stokes. This stance of Pathan is rapidly in discussion on social media.

After the 22 -run defeat in the third Test to England on Monday, questions are being raised on Team India’s strategy, and this time Irfan Pathan is raising questions. He believes that “India’s ‘over-thinking’ bowling planning and attempt to save Jaspreet Bumrah overshadowed the team.

On his YouTube channel, Irfan gave a strong reaction to the Lord’s Test. He said, “Stokes put a tremendous spell of 9 overs in the early morning on the fifth day, also batted, and also runout Rishabh Pant. There was no ‘workload management’. But in India, Bumrah puts only 5 overs and then Joe wait for the route. While we should have held the match at that time.”

Irrfan also targeted the team management’s thinking and said, “When you play a match, there is no talk of workload, there only matters. Pathan further said that if Archer can put 6 overs and then come again for bowling, and Stokes can bowl 9 overs, then our bowlers are left behind.

Talking about the match, Ravindra Jadeja once again proved himself. He kept the match alive till the last breath by scoring an unbeaten 61 in 181 balls. He continued the fight in partnership with Bumrah and Siraj, but Siraj’s wicket was taken out by Bashir and India remained 22 runs away from the victory. The England is now 2–1 in the series and the fourth Test will be played in Manchester from 23 July. The Indian team will try to return to the series by winning the match.
