Bengaluru stampede case: RCB hopes amid pain, families of 11 people who lost their lives in stampede will get Rs 25 lakh
IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has finally announced compensation in a stampede case in Bangalore. He has announced to give an amount of Rs 25 lakh to the families of 11 people who lost their lives in the stampede. The franchise announced this through an initiative called RCB Care on 30 August, Saturday.
On June 4, 2025, RCB’s celebrations of winning the IPL 2025 title, 11 fans lost their lives and many were injured in a stampede outside the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. After this incident, fans and cricket pundits raised a lot of questions on this celebration and blamed the RCB and the Karnataka government for the accident. RCB had silence after the incident, but now he has finally announced compensation by breaking the silence in the case.
RCB gave information about this compensation from its official X account and wrote, “Our heart broke on June 4, 2025. We lost eleven members of the RCB family. They were our part. He was our part. Our city, our community and our team are part of the unique things. Their absence will always be in memories of all of us. Never have any support left by us. With, RCB has given 25-25 lakhs to their families. Not only as financial help, but as a promise of compassion, unity and continuous care.

RCB further wrote, “This is also the beginning of RCB carers, a long -term commitment for meaningful action that begins by respecting his memory. Every step ahead will show the feelings, expectations and rights of the fans.”
Let us know that in the final of IPL 2025 played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, RCB defeated Punjab Kings by six runs to finish the 18 -year -long wait of its first IPL title. In the final match, Batting first, RCB scored a total score of 190/9 in 20 overs. But for Shreyas Iyer -led team, the target of 191 runs proved to be very high and despite Shashank Singh’s innings of 61 runs off 30 balls, he could score 184 runs after losing seven wickets.
