A 20 -year -old Bhumi also died in a stampede at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday. His father is in a bad state. He blamed the administration for this accident. He said that my son was killed today due to your negligence.

Actually, huge crowds gathered to see Virat Kohli and RCB team. But this celebration turned into a terrible accident when hundreds of people tried to break the gate and enter inside, causing a stampede. It killed 11 people while 33 were injured.

The information given by eyewitnesses about this incident is quite frightening. Someone told how a crowd of 600-700 people tried to break the gate and enter the stadium, then someone said that 30-40 people fell after the consecutive crowd came, out of which 3-4 died in front of their eyes.

‘600-700 people tried to break the gate and come in’

Another eyewitness said, ‘600-700 people, especially women, were trying to enter the gate together and enter into. It was learned that the road show of the team has been canceled and everyone has to come to the stadium. Many women came without tickets. The police tried to stop the people but no one listened. There was a stampede in an attempt to climb the gate. Many women were injured, I wanted to help, but could not do anything in the crowd.

‘The crowd was increasing, but the police was not present’

One person said, ‘People were being stopped repeatedly but the crowd was increasing. The police was not there. It was very choking. Many girls had fallen, some also fell on me. My ribs have suffered injuries, bone not broken, but muscle pain. ‘

‘People fell down to enter the stadium but the crowd kept coming’

Another person said, ’30 -40 people fell together, but the crowd kept coming from behind. 3-4 people died on the spot in front of my eyes. We were called at gate number 7 at 3 pm, but no one was allowed inside till 5:20. There was just a small way to get inside. 300-400 people were at that gate. It was very choking. I am alive, this is a big deal.
