A statement issued by RCB and Virat Kohli wrote, “We are very sad about the unfortunate incidents in the media in which the team has been said to gather across the Bangalore in the request of arrival of the team this afternoon. All the safety and goodness of all are most important for us.”
Further, it was written, “RCB mourns this tragic incident and expresses its condolences to the affected families.”
How did a stampede?
Let us know that after winning the final of IPL 2025 against Punjab Kings at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on June 03, RCB reached Bangalore the next day i.e. on June 04 to celebrate.
After reaching Bangalore, RCB first reached Vidhan Saudha, where CM Siddaramaiah honored the team. Then after the Vidhan Saudha, the team reached M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Meanwhile, a large crowd gathered outside the stadium. Due to this crowd, there was a stampede -like atmosphere. RCB said that the team changed its plan after a stampede.
