Better performance in Lok Sabha, 17 MPs honored with Parliament Ratna
17 MPs have been selected for the Parliament Ratna Award 2025 for outstanding performance in the Lok Sabha. These include Supriya Sule of NCP Sharad faction, Ravi Kishan of BJP and Nishikant Dubey and Shiv Sena UBT’s Arvind Sawant. Among the MPs who became the Parliament Ratna, 7 MPs are from Maharashtra.
Apart from these, 4 Special Jury Awards are also included. These include BJP’s Bhartrihari Mahtab, NK Premchandran of revolutionary Samajwadi Party, Supriya Sule of NCP Sharad Gut and Srirang Appa Barne of Shiv Sena. All of them have continued their best performance since the 16th Lok Sabha.

The remaining MPs include BJP’s Smita Uday Wagh, Shiv Sena’s Naresh Mhuske, Congress’ Varsha Gaikwad, BJP’s Medha Kulkarni, Praveen Patel, Vidyut Baran Mahato and Dilip Saikia. MP NK Premchandran has received the Parliament Ratna Award for the 5th time.
In the Committee category, the Finance Constable Committee on Finance headed by Bhartrihari Mahtab and the Agricultural Standing Committee headed by Dr. Charanjit Singh Channi (Congress) were honored for contributing to the quality and legislative surveillance of his reports.
