Betul Crime News: After the death of 10 elephants in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve recently, the effect of CM Dr. Mohan Yadav’s strictness is visible in Betul also. During Betul Van Vrat, the forest department team raided Selda beat of Shahpur range and caught four forest mafia red handed while hunting wild animals in the forest and illegally cutting teak.

The forest mafia had also harvested teak in the forest, due to which the nests of wild animals built on teak trees have also been damaged. The accused had also laid traps to hunt wild animals. Which have been recovered by the forest staff. Four bikes and hunting nets were recovered from the accused.

Forest has registered various cases of forest crime against the forest mafia and arrested the accused. All the accused are said to be residents of Khapariya village.
