Bhadrapada Krishna Amavasya will start from 22 August 2025, starting from 11:55 am on Friday to 23 August 2025, on Saturday at 11:35 am. Even today, there is a law to keep the fast of Amavasya and recite worship. On August 22, Darshan was Amavasya and today is the new moon day of bathing. Due to Saturday, it is being called Shani Amavasya. Therefore, it is important to keep a fast on this day.

Twilight : Evening from 06:52 to 07:14.
1. On this day, the ancestors should offer offerings during the mid -day period. For this, do this law in a river, reservoir or pool.
2. On this day, get up in the morning and after offering Arghya to the Sun God, flow the sesame in the flowing water.
3. Give donations to a poor person or Brahmin after tarpan and pindadan.
4. On this day, for the prevention of Kalsarp Dosha, get a worthy priest offer prayers.
5. In the evening on this day, light a lamp of mustard oil under the peepal tree and remember the ancestors. Apply 7 circumambulation of Peepal.
6. Amavasya is the day of Shani Dev. Therefore, they should also be worshiped on this day.
7. Bathing and donation: It is very important to bathe in holy rivers on this day or to bathe by mixing Ganga water in water at home.
8. Feed green fodder to the cow on Amavasya.
9. For the long life and health of the child, mothers fast on this day and worship Goddess Durga.
10. Kusha is collected for religious works on this Amavasya. If the grass used in religious works, Shraddha Karma etc. is collected, then it is virtuous.
