British royal navy Hindu priest: Britain’s Royal Navy has appointed its first Hindu priest. The name of the Hindu priest is Bhanu Atri. Bhanu Atri is the first non -Christian to play the official role of providing spiritual assistance to the fellow naval authorities based on the principles of Hinduism. Bhanu Atri, originally from Himachal Pradesh, has taken his new role after doing some different courses from other naval cadets last week.

Bhanu Atri has undergone a six -week official training, including training to survive in the sea for four weeks on the warship HMS Iron Duke and a three -week military focus on the role of a military priest. Atri said, “It is an honor to become the first Hindu priest in the fleet.”

Atri went to London in the year 2009
Born in September 1986, Bhanu Atri completed his early education from Saraswati Niketan Senior Secondary School Nalwa. After that, after studying Shastri from Sanskrit College Solan, I got a degree from Jyotishacharya from Delhi. In 2009, Atri went to London and started working as a priest. His father Ram Gopal Atri is a retired Shastri teacher from the Education Department, while mother Leena Atri is a homemaker. Bhanu Atri lives in London with wife and children.
