Bharatpur News Desk, According to the provisions related to income tax deduction at source for all pensioners receiving pension from the treasury, if the PAN number of any pensioner is not updated on the pension portal or the PAN is inactive or the PAN number is not linked to Aadhaar, then a maximum of 20 Income tax will be deducted at source at the rate of 100 per cent. Treasury Officer Ashapal Maurya said that all pensioners should link their PAN number with Aadhaar number, if not then get PAN allotted. After this action, update your PAN on the pension portal. Also register on the Income Tax Department portal.
Life certificates are being submitted to the treasury in the month of November for the annual verification of government pensioners/family pensioners. Pensioners can submit their life certificate by appearing in person at the treasury on any working day or can upload the certified life certificate on the pension department’s website https://pension.rajasthan.gov.in or through their SSO. Through ID, you can get e-sign from government personnel on IFMS 3.0 app and submit it online. He informed that in this regard, a one-day camp will be organized at the treasury and sub-treasury level on November 11 in collaboration with Rajasthan Pension Society.
