Bhumika Chawla was the first choice for ‘Jab We Met’ before Kareena Kapoor, Bobby Deol was also coming to see

Bhumika Chawla had said that she was signed for the lead role of hit films like Jab We Met and Munna Bhai MBBS but later replaced Kareena Kapoor and Gracie Singh to take the movie.

Bhumika had said, I got offers from a lot of films. I have always been selective about films, I know what to work. After this I signed a big project. But regrettable suddenly the film’s production, hero, the title of the film and the film’s heroine were also changed.

Bhumika Chawla said that he was first cast by Bobby Deol in the film Jab We Met. But he was later dropped from the film. He said, I felt bad only once, when I signed ‘Jab We Met’ and did not happen.

He had said, I and Bobby Deol were the first choice for this film. Then it was to be named train. This was followed by the pair of Mary and Shahid Kapoor. Then Ayesha Takia came in the film and then in the last, Imtiaz Ali signed Kareena Kapoor’s opposite to Shahid Kapoor.
