A very painful news has come out from Ramanthpur area of Hyderabad. During the procession of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, 5 people were killed and four were injured due to contact with the chariot’s high -tension wire. The accident took place in Gopal Nagar in Ramanthpur area which comes in the Uppal police station area.
Weeds covered on the festival
Due to this sudden accident, the happiness of the festival turned into mourning. Amidst screams and stampede, people kept trying to save their lives. The injured have been admitted to the nearest hospitals.
What did the police tell?
Police inspector of Uppal district said, “Last night, 5 people died on the spot due to electric shock during the Shri Krishna Janmashtami procession. The injured were taken to the hospital for further treatment and the bodies have been sent for postmortem. ‘
Katie Rama Rao expressed grief
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) executive president KT Rama Rao has expressed grief over the incident. KTR said, “I am deeply shocked to hear about the accident in Gokhale Nagar, Ramantpur. Sadly, five people lost their lives due to electric shock in this procession organized under the Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations. It is very sad that Krishna Yadav, Srikanth Reddy, Suresh Yadav, Rudra Vikas and Rajendra Reddy died in this tragedy.
