Big announcement by Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini, ICU and trauma centers will be established in all the districts, health facilities will be strengthened.
Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has made an important announcement for the people of the state. He announced a plan to open ICU (Intensive Care Unit) and Trauma Center in hospitals of all the districts. This decision is expected to bring major improvement in the health infrastructure of Haryana. ICU centers are ready in six districts including Gurugram, Rohtak, Karnal, Panipat and Ambala, which will be inaugurated by CM Nayab Singh Saini soon.

New strength to health facilities
CM Saini informed that every district hospital of the state will have the facility of ICU and Trauma Center. The aim of this initiative is to provide quicker and better healthcare to all people. This decision of the Chief Minister is an important step towards improving health facilities in the state. Along with this, preparations are also underway to improve the medical facilities available in various hospitals.
700 bed hospital being built in Gurugram
The construction work of Shitala Mata Medical College in Gurugram is going on at a fast pace. The government has given instructions to complete it in the next six months. Apart from this, another medical college will be constructed in Sector 10 of Gurugram which will have a facility of 700 beds. Prime Minister Narendra Modi or Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini may be invited to inaugurate this project.
ICU and Trauma Center instructions
CM Nayab Singh Saini and Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao gave instructions to strengthen the health infrastructure in the review meeting of Health, AYUSH and Medical Education Department in Chandigarh. The minister directed the officials to ensure that ICU units are established in every district hospital. Apart from this, it has been decided to open trauma centers in all the districts to provide timely treatment to the patients.
Review and improvement of health facilities
During the meeting, the CM and Health Minister directed the health officials to inspect all the hospitals and assess the arrangements. According to Minister Aarti Singh Rao, increasing the number of beds in hospitals is also being considered. There are also plans to expand and improve facilities in old hospitals.
Medical staff recruitment process will start soon
To further strengthen the health facilities, the government has decided to start the recruitment process for the vacant posts of medical officers, doctors and nurses. This will remove staff shortage in hospitals and make health services more effective.
Toll-free number will be issued
It has also been announced to issue a toll-free number to take health care complaints seriously. On this number, citizens will be able to complain about any problem like asking for higher fees for tests or delay in other medical services.
Emphasis on helping victims of road accidents
Minister Aarti Singh Rao expressed concern over the death rate in road accidents. He appealed to the citizens that if any accident occurs, they should immediately take the victim to the nearest government or private hospital. The government has promised to provide all possible facilities to provide first aid to the victims of accidents.
Instructions for fogging to prevent dengue
The Chief Minister has instructed the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts to get regular fogging done and testing for dengue larvae to prevent the outbreak of dengue. This is expected to reduce dengue cases in the state and people will feel relieved.
Expansion of e-Sanjeevani Center facilities
CM Saini also directed to open e-Sanjeevani centers in all the districts of the state. Presently e-Sanjeevani centers are operating in Panchkula and Rohtak which are providing telemedicine services. Through this initiative, health facilities are being expanded and improved in the state. With this, the citizens of Haryana will be able to get timely and better health services.
