The franchise of Outer Delhi was bought by the Consortium headed by Savita Paints Private Limited for Rs 10.6 crore. New Delhi’s franchise was obtained by the Consortium of Bhima Tolling and Traffic Solutions Private Limited and Crayon Advertising Limited for Rs 9.2 crore.
In the 2025 season of the tournament, there are six teams before these two new teams, Central Delhi Kings, East Delhi Riders, North Delhi Strikers, Old Delhi 6, South Delhi Superstars and West Delhi Lions.
The auction of Delhi Premier League 2025 will be held in Delhi on 6 and 7 July. The auction of male players will be on 6 July and the auction of female players on 7 July.
The auction of male players includes prominent names like Rishabh Pant, Ishant Sharma and emerging stars like Priyansh Arya, Ayush Badoni, Harshit Rana, Digvesh Rathi, Himmat Singh, Suyash Sharma, Mayank Yadav and Anuj Rawat. These players have won their hearts with their performance in the IPL.
Talking about the Delhi Premier League auction, DDCA President Rohan Jaitley said, “Delhi Premier League is much higher than a tournament. I demonstrated my talent. ”
